Sai Shetra made his debut as an actor at the age of seven in a short film titled D (Dengue), produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Saleem Hadi. He then joined Deyi Secondary School’s drama club. At Deyi, he had the opportunity to perform in two SYF shows and host multiple inter-school events. Sai has also worked as a voice actor for the Ministry Of Education’s Tamil listening comprehension examinations.
He has received an award from the Singapore Book Of Records for performing in the four-hour dance and drama performance titled Hastinapuram, an adaption of the ancient epic Mahabharata. Sai Shetra has performed lead roles in a number of short films. One of his notable works include Yogi 2. Upon joining LASALLE College of the Arts, he has performed in multiple productions under the Diploma in Performance Programme.
