Chin Li Ping Alexandra (丽平)

Diploma in Fine Arts

Alexandra is a multimedia artist that works with drawings, painting and experimental lens-based art. They see art as a spiritual practice, utilising it to acknowledge and actualise their inner sentiments and feelings by channeling these energies as active meditations through their art, regardless of their chosen medium.

Alexandra has likened their process to an ever-evolving free form dance that changes based on patterns and signs they see in their works, with repetition and form fluency as the semiotics of their practice. Their process-based work is always in flux, changing across media and narrative, allowing them to engage in introspection, reflection and note-taking for further direction.

Alexandra is graduating with a Diploma in Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts. They have also participated in the Pre-College Programme at San Francisco Art Institute in 2016 and the Fine Arts Foundation Year at Goldsmiths University of London from 2017 to 2018. Alexandra has exhibited and sold their works in multiple group exhibitions such as Shooting Home Youth Awards at Objectifs in 2020, Fluid Spaces at Gillman Barracks in 2021 and Singapore Art Book Fair under Orbit Collective in 2022.
