Sanjana Sairaj

Sanjana is a multifaceted creative who constantly challenges herself to be more experimental and versatile in her art practice.

Working with different media types – from videos and installations to drawings and mixed media paintings – Sanjana's work explores emotional freedom, evaluating the human experience and various topics surrounding the paradox of identity. She aims to continually explore new concepts and stay playful in her approach to her work.

In 2018, Sanjana exhibited her paintings and won competitions hosted by the Society of Indian Marine Artists' Annual Seascapes Exhibition. She has also interned at Hatch Art Project, a Singapore-based art gallery, helping with their exhibit for Singapore Art Week. Currently, she is collaborating with another artist on a mural for Grids Cafe & Bar.
