Iman Sengupta
Iman is a visual artist with a background in photography and painting, graduating with a MA Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts. With an undergraduate degree in Contemporary Art Practices from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, he uses photography and digital video to express his artistic practice.
In his current graduate research, Iman aims to unpack the fabric and materiality of intrinsic experiences through time as an observer and storyteller in Singapore, hoping to understand how recollection of memory works. He is in the process of finding his voice as a 'witness of mundane fantasies'.
His work has been featured in the group exhibition 1°18’, 103°51’ (where have you been?) (2022) at the Project Space in LASALLE College of the Arts.
