Constantly put down by her parents' biased attitudes, Mia keeps her jealousy and anger pent up within herself, keeping her feelings bottled as she watches her biological parents favour her adopted brother, Eric. The only outlet for Mia to express her hurt and anger is her diary. Things come to a head when Eric reads through the diary entries filled with hatred towards him.
