If Only, I is a romance that follows the life of Anne Marie, an 18-year-old girl who will be taking her major exams. She meets a 17-year-old boy Zhen, who is playful and fun. Anne Marie and Zhen develop feelings for each other, despite her friends' disapproval. As a people pleaser, Anne Marie now has to choose whether she will follow her heart or her friend's opinions.
