MaJie is a documentary that captures the essence of these unsung heroines, as we journey into the past to explore the complex layers of their history. Through interviews with the only living majie who spent her youth in Singapore, as well as reenactment shots, we come to understand the majies' story as one of both perseverance and sacrifice.
