Chua Jun Wei, Ernst
Ernst is a classically trained pianist who ventured into the world of music production and performance while in secondary school. While working on his music, he developed an interest in the technical aspects of audio and started to work on recording and mixing for both studio and live sound.
Over the past few years, he has worked with various artists as a recording engineer and producer, and has also worked on conferences, theatre productions and music festivals as a sound designer or audio engineer.
Work
Ernst has worked as monitor engineer for Rock and Indie Festival (2021) and School Of Contemporary Music Graduate Recitals (2022), A2 for monitor engineer Mark Spencer at Love, Micappella concert (2021) in Sands Theatre, assistant system engineer and technical crew for Power Station Because of Love Tour at the Singapore Indoor Stadium (2022), sound designer and engineer for Journey to the West: White Bone Fiend (dir. Benjamin Ho) at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre's auditorium (2022), as well as being the front of house engineer for RRILEY and Haneri at Hyperdrive Cities Festival in 2022.
