Adopting a sustainable framework for non-profit arts organisations: A study on the sustainable practices of Singapore's Chinese clan associations
Despite the prevalent belief that Singapore's Chinese clan associations are not involved in the arts or are under-represented in this area, they are well-established organisations associated with preserving and transmitting Chinese cultural heritage in Singapore. Recent research suggests that these associations are, in fact, significant patrons of the arts, providing content for various art programmes. This thesis studies the sustainability frameworks of Singapore's Chinese clan associations to discover practices that non-profit arts and culture organisations can adopt.

Elysia Lim Wan Ling
Elysia is an occasional illustrator and craft maker who aspires to be a project manager. She has assisted in the coordination of a multidisciplinary, multisensory banquet called SHI.YAN in 2019, and the experience has given her an interest in making traditional forms of performing arts more accessible and relatable to the public, especially the youth.
Elysia is passionate about telling stories from the heart and sparking meaningful conversations, and sees this as a lifelong project for herself. Having worked in artist liaison, project management and arts marketing through her years in the sector, she continues to explore new disciplines to broaden her creative pursuits
Elysia can usually be found in her room, either illustrating children's books or crafting for her own brand nahwhal.palette. She always welcomes new kopi kakis for meaningful dialogues over a cup of coffee or tea.
