Shruti is an aspiring writer who specialises in screenplays. She is a member of Screenwriter's Association India. Shruti also writes short stories and hopes to publish a novel length crime thriller one day. Her goal is to tell different and inspiring stories which express and explore the complexities of life and people. Shruti is looking forward to becoming a screenwriter in the film industry and embark on a journey filled with stories.

Thesis work

Way back home is a screenplay of a feature film that delves into an intricate and emotional tale of two sisters on a quest to find their missing mother. The heart of the story lies in the backstory of the sisters, where the complexities and conflicts of living in a joint family are explored. It is a non-linear narrative, driven by the relationships between the characters, as well as the complex dynamics of the joint family setting.
