Ashley Ru

Ashley is a promising actress carrying the hopes and dreams of a young girl who was too afraid of being different. Her passion for theatre and film acting eventually overflowed, resulting in her pursuing a BA(Hons) Acting degree at LASALLE College of the Arts.

During her time in LASALLE, Ashley's credits include Georges Feydeau’s An Absolute Turkey (dir. Robin Sneller) and Kuo Pao Kun’s Descendants of the Eunuch Admiral (dir. Alvin Chiam). Outside of school, Ashley has also performed in Danial Matin’s dance theatre performance Before You Go (dir. Chong Gua Khee).

Ashley believes that the most beautiful performances are the ones that manage to touch hearts. She hopes that in her journey, she will create works that would do just that.
