Alden Wong (Aldie)

Alden (Aldie) was born and raised in Singapore and has trained in dance since 2018. They are graduating with a Diploma in Dance from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2023. Although Aldie started out with a background purely in street dance, they have expanded practice to include contemporary dance.

They are dedicated to making what they perform their own and expressing the many facets of themselves with gender fluid performances. As a performer who is versatile in many genres, Aldie is interested in both the commercial and abstract worlds of dance. They aspire to find spaces between genres – be it contemporary, jazz or street dance – in order to inform the way they move and choreograph.
