Gloria Rossi

Gloria's practice investigates the self and the ways identity is formed through desire. From a personal standpoint, Gloria unearths and interrogates ideals which have been absorbed into female self-defined identity, to question how these influence both the formation and perception of the self. Gloria mainly works with video and object sculptures – teasing, curiosity and playfulness are key components of her work.

Gloria’s work has been exhibited as part of online show Contemporary Portraiture – Redefining the figure in November 2020 and as part of the An artists’ market show in Singapore at Gillman Barracks Hearth space, in March 2021.
