Lim Teck Peng

Teck Lim is a photographer and artist who weaves performance, installations and photography in creating an oeuvre of 'premortem' artworks. The artist uses the term to describe the time that leads towards the inevitable, which is death.

Teck’s recent exploration of his mortality artworks has brought him to showcase his works through a transcultural collaboration organised by Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK), held across Switzerland, Yogyakarta and Singapore, and he was also selected to partake in open studio and exhibition at Tokyo University of the Arts (TUA) in 2023. Actively involved in the local art scene, he most recently exhibited in the group show Leaves Nothing but Footprints, held at Starch in October 2023, and restaged a performative artwork Latency at Gesture Serialized at Cereal Box, Peace Centre in January 2024.
