Locke Low
As an independent creator of music and visual art, Locke's need to understand the engineering behind his musical creations drove him to apply for LASALLE College of the Arts' Diploma in Audio Production.
The past three years in the programme has helped broaden his understanding of audio and music, giving him the opportunity to work with musicians and audio engineers all while perfecting his own craft. He looks forward to what the future holds for him, now that he is armed with entirely new skill sets.
Work
Locke was the monitor engineer during Lunchtime Concerts for bands like Joe Rosenberg (2022) and during the Fleeting Feelings Festival featuring bands such as Tell Lie Vision (2022). Over time, he gained confidence and took on the role of both the front-of-house engineer as well as lighting operator in the Composer's Concert (2023).
He went on to volunteer for the role of a production manager and opening act as a singer in a fundraiser show produced through collaboration with the Singapore Cancer Society, LASALLE, Believe and Pacifica Music Academy (2023).
