Mahiir
At the age of six, Mahiir was inspired watching Siti Nurhaliza sing at the Royal Albert Hall in London and decided to become a singer as well.
He joined singing competitions to hone his skills and joined the Malay Youth Performing Arts (MyPart) group to learn how to play the guitar. Now, Mahiir sings for MyPart and will graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts' Diploma in Music programme in 2024.
Work
Mahiir competed in Suara Wisma season 1, taking vocal lessons with senior vocal instructor Ann Hussein and has been published twice in Berita Harian, subsequently appearing on air with local radio station RIA FM. During the finals, Mahiir was awarded Harvey Norman People’s Choice Award, scoring the highest number of votes that day.
Mahiir was also crowned Champion of the Grab Talent Competition, scored third place in the Rising Star Singing Competition and has released a single Harapan on Spotify with an accompanying music video on YouTube.
