Esther Yeon Ling Yuan

Esther is an aspiring arts manager and writer with an interest in arts and politics. She was one of the two participants for the Arts Journalism Matters Fellowship in 2023, a virtual residency organised by Asia-Europe Foundation and ENCATC. She was also a contributing writer for The Star, an English-language newspaper in Malaysia.

Esther was a part of the organising team for the 2023 edition of the George Town Festival in Penang, Malaysia as a festival programme assistant. She was also head of programming for Rock and Indie Festival (2023), an annual student-led music festival in Singapore at LASALLE College of the Arts. Esther served as the producer for the Homebody EP Launch Party held at *SCAPE in 2023 for Singaporean singer-songwriter LAYYI's debut.  

Esther was a participant in the 2023 Shared Campus Summer School programme, (un)learning matters: socially engaged art in Hong Kong, held onsite at Hong Kong Baptist University.
