Khairil Shah
Khairil Shah is a songwriter and guitarist known for his eclectic and exploratory approach towards music writing and composition. Fiercely uncompromising, Khairil is unafraid to challenge his musical ideas and creative visions. His passion in transdisciplinary artform has inspired works fusing different artform such as architecture, dance, painting and music.
An advocator for the underground music scene, Khairil has founded numerous bands and projects across Singapore and Malaysia. He has worked with local acts, including, acoustic duo The Camomile Session, electronic outfit Elektone, local indie-jazz group Moods and screamo band, Talisma. Additionally, Khairil is actively involved in the Kuala Lumpur indie scene and is currently gigging with KL-based band, Johny Comes Lately. He has also worked with renowned KL band Toko Kilat and Prasasti.
