Li-Shya is a multidisciplinary designer whose practice is driven by the belief that design should serve others, especially communities placed at the margins. She believes that the key to addressing and solving problems lies not in the subject matter itself, but rather in the perspective or angle one brings to it. She pursues this ethos by seeking to bridge the gap between creativity and strategy.

Food & The Migrant Diaspora
The project explores how food can serve as a mediator between Singaporeans and the migrant community through the lens of transnationalism. It examines the role and significance of food within the Bangladeshi migrant worker community and explores the potential of food-sharing initiatives in fostering a shared social identity with Singaporeans.
