Josef is a designer, artist and storyteller based in Singapore. He has also worn the hats of a creative director, illustrator, animator, educator as well as the author and artist of children’s picture books.

ReDesigning public health communication: communicating wellness through a more effective visual narrative medium
The VISUAL EXPRESS is a card system consisting of 35 cards with simple, practical techniques for better visual storytelling. Through applying the techniques from the VISUAL EXPRESS, an accompanying webcomic on wellness, Happie in July, was created to bridge the sensitive topic of depression using a less serious approach.
