Charvi Rammohan

Charvi is a writer and filmmaker passionate about creating cinema that resonates with audiences and encourages deep reflection on meaningful themes. 

Her short film Ophelia has been showcased at various short film festivals, and her fiction has been published in SAMPAN and Beyond words. She is currently in the pre-production phase of her next short film.

Charvi is especially committed to making films in her native language, Malayalam, with the aim of making them more accessible and bringing greater global recognition to the rich storytelling traditions of the region. Her work explores the complexity of human emotions, delving into their depth with nuance and sensitivity. 

When she’s not writing, Charvi enjoys watching films, traveling and spending quality time with her loved ones.
