Mehr is a writer of stories and poetry. She swims in the ocean of fiction while occasionally diving into the lakes of creative non-fiction. Her works hike through the mountains of ecofeminism, plucking at themes of trauma and resilience.

Mehr writes with hopes that her works may shower her readers with validation and connection.

Thesis work

Call me Kuveni is a story about women which strives to depict the realities of women’s experiences through five goddesses. It is also a fictionalised retelling of the origins of Sri Lanka and her people through the perspective of Kuveni, who is known in Sri Lanka as the Yaksha Queen or Devil Queen of Sri Lanka.
