Stacy is an award-winning filmmaker and writer who has self-published three novels for middle grade readers.

Her short story Pepperoni was published in Et Sequitur magazine, and her essay The First Question will appear in SAMPAN, LASALLE College of the Arts' anthology for creative writing.

After completing her master’s degree at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, Stacy is focusing on fiction for adults, working on her horror-comedy novel Queens of the Underworld, her psychological thriller Squirrel, and her speculative political satire Kafka Lives. In her spare time, she writes poetry, especially spoken word.

Thesis work

Queens of the Underworld is a horror-comedy novel about five lifelong friends aggressively pursued by the King of the Underworld, who gives them three days to decide which one will be sacrificed as his bride, otherwise all will die. Told through shifting narrators and multiple points of view, the novel explores motherhood, art, religion, friendship, female rage, sexuality and traditional gender roles, examining the boundaries they impose and the ultimate question of individual worth.
