Darius is a graphic designer whose practice focuses on experimental typography and graphic lore.
In his spare time, he runs hyperpress, a research initiative and body of work exploring the intersections of 3D printing, graphic design and publishing—producing 3D printed books, objects and texts. He is a recipient of the ADC New York Young Guns 21 award.
Work
METALLY
METALLY is a proof-of-concept 3D printed book containing printed circuit pages with conductive TPU traces (under a few lines of text) connected to capacitive touch sensors. It also houses an integrated audio speaker module and electronic ink display within a 3D printed steel-infused PLA spine and cover.
