Wynn Chan
Wynn Chan is an experienced classical pianist, accompanist and interdisciplinary collaborator. She completed a BA(Hons) Music specialising in Classical Performance at LASALLE and is currently preparing for her Licentiate Trinity College London in 2020. She has taken part in music competitions such as the Singapore Music Teachers’ Association Performers’ Festival & Chamber Music Competition, and attaining Gold at both the 2nd and 3rd Overseas Performers’ Festival in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Wynn teaches piano to students of all ages and is well-versed with the ABRSM syllabus. She also plays as a piano accompanist for woodwind and string instrumentalists for their exams. Wynn aspires to be an accompanist for Singapore Dance Theatre and plans to further her studies and obtain a Masters in Music Therapy.
Work
Wynn has performed at Piano Voyage: Into the Underworld where she was part of the winning Improv Battle team. She has also performed at The Living Composers Series, Open House and Bel Amour. Wynn regularly performed in LASALLE’s community outreach project at Alexandra and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals. She also took part in Summer School Improvise!, a five-day immersive experience in spontaneous sound-making and collective music-making.
