Boey Yong En is a violin and bassist from Singapore. He is currently the violinist for acoustic pop duo JQXZUL and the bassist for up-and-coming funk fusion band Bullsheep. Yong En started classical violin lessons at a young age and attained a Grade 6 ABRSM certification. While at LASALLE, Yong En became intrigued by the electric bass, being inspired by professional bassist Sharay Reed. As a bassist he mainly dabbles in funk, R&B, soul and gospel and has played at Rock and Indie Festival, Red Dot August @ Esplanade Concourse, Noise Music Mentorship and Gardens Festival.
