Alicia Kan is a Singaporean actor and writer. She received her formal actor training in the BA(Hons) Acting programme at LASALLE College of the Arts. Alicia expanded her training at the Peking Opera Summer School at Shanghai Theatre Academy, where she worked and collaborated with artists and practitioners from over 10 countries. She was selected to be part of Haresh Sharma’s Playwriting Programme in 2018. Her first script, Frozen (dir. Danny Jow), has been staged twice. Alicia is currently developing her second writing project, First World Problems, which was first presented as a dramatised reading as part of Centre 42’s Guest Room Programme.
