Rie is a proud graduate of LASALLE's BA(Hons) Acting programme. She is a versatile, expressive and enthusiastic actor whose theatre journey started at the age of 17 when she studied for her Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology at Singapore Polytechnic. Rie is also a dancer and musician, who studied ballet and piano at the ages of four and eight respectively.
Some of Rie's notable works include being Assistant Director and Creative Director for Mama never told us, playing Wu in LASALLE's production of A Winter People (dir. Peter Zazzali), as well as Mme Pinchard and the First Inspector from An Absolute Turkey (dir. Robin Sneller).
Rie aspires to champion Malay culture and arts and hopes to delve into making and producing music whilst still pursuing a fulfilling career as an actress and established piano teacher.
