Tejas Hirah

BA(Hons) Acting
2020 — 2023

Tejas is a versatile actor, emcee, dancer and stand-up comic. He has been performing since the tender age of six, beginning his drama training at Julia Gabriel’s and Act 3. Prior to studying in LASALLE College of the Arts' BA(Hons) Acting programme, he was a theatre student at School of the Arts Singapore.

Tejas has acted in commercials, on television and in theatre productions. Some of his most notable works include: playing the role of Alif in Mediacorp's series Sunny Side Up (2022), emceeing for the Tour De France Prudential Singapore Criterium (2022), being the poster boy for Pace (2021–present), and playing the role of Julian in Bernadette Koh’s La Facade (Dir. Noorlinah Mohamed) as part of How to Break a Window II (2020), a hybrid theatrical experience by TheatreWorks.

With his background in dance, Tejas is interested in movement-in-performance, specifically physical theatre. He is also passionate about applied theatre and wants to use theatre to provoke social change and for community engagement. Lastly, as a theatre practitioner of mixed heritage, Tejas hopes to use his theatre practice to represent and to educate the public about the Eurasian diaspora in Singapore. He looks forward to an exciting career in the local theatre, entertainment and media industry.
