Marcus Cheong

Marcus is an actor who charms the audience with his sincerity, stage presence and powerful voice. His passion for acting started at age 13 when he joined his secondary school's drama club, with whom he was cast as the lead in their entry to the Singapore Youth Festival competition. Marcus was a part of Pangdemonium’s Triple Threats Programme in 2017, which sparked his interest in musical theatre. He credits his time in the BA(Hons) Musical Theatre programme at LASALLE College of the Arts with helping him to find his voice, enabling him to approach different singing genres with finesse and confidence.

Prior to his journey in LASALLE, Marcus conducted speech and drama workshops for children and worked as a freelance performer. Being an adventurous individual, he jumps at every opportunity to improve his acting, singing and dancing skills. Upon graduation, Marcus aspires to be a versatile performer and educator of performing arts.
