Darren Lim Yu Wei

Darren is a graduating student from the Diploma in Theatre Production and Management programme at LASALLE College of the Arts with a focus on lighting for theatre and live events.

Darren has developed practical experience in lighting preparation, rigging support, cue execution and maintaining smooth show operations across a range of productions. Throughout his training, he has shown a consistent interest in learning new lighting systems, workflows and industry-standard practices. Receptive to feedback, Darren works effectively in team-based environments where clear communication, attention to detail and technical accuracy are required.

Upon graduation, Darren aims to continue developing within the technical theatre industry, expand his professional network and take on increasing levels of responsibility in future lighting roles. He views each production as an opportunity to build experience and refine his skills.
