Joshua Pau Kai Jie

Josh is graduating with a Diploma in Theatre Production and Management from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2026. 

Josh's practice focuses on audio and production management, supporting performances through clear, thoughtful and dependable technical execution. He enjoys working behind the scenes and contributing to collaborative environments such as concerts, festivals and theatre productions.

During his time at LASALLE, Josh has taken on production roles ranging from production manager, technical manager and sound manager. These experiences have enhanced his understanding of production workflows, team coordination and the responsibilities required to support productions effectively. 

Josh is deeply passionate about the world of live productions and is drawn to the exhilarating energy that comes from bringing performances to life. Through his internship, he had the experience of being part of the backline crew with the Formula 1 Grand Prix and TWICE Concert. 

His technical expertise spans a variety of audio consoles, including the Yamaha CL and QL Series, Allen & Heath boards, the Midas M32 and various analogue systems.

Josh values professionalism, adaptability, teamwork and attention to detail. Beyond technical skills, he is committed to bringing a positive attitude to every project and creating an environment where both artists and crew feel supported and inspired. He hopes to continue developing his skills in live sound and production, contributing meaningfully to the performing arts and live events industry.
