About
Lily Mae is graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts. She brings a practice rooted in performance, choreography and community engagement, with a particular strength in contemporary dance.
At LASALLE, Lily Mae has performed works by various choreographers, including Rasa, which will be restaged and performed internationally in Kuala Lumpur and at the Sweat Dance Festival in Hong Kong. As a choreographer, her works include Shadow(s) Play and One More, exploring themes of addiction, self and the push and pull of presence and absence.
Interdisciplinary by nature, Lily Mae extends her movement practice beyond the stage, bringing a dancer's sensibility to photoshoots and creative collaborations across disciplines. Beyond performance, she is dedicated to dance as a means of connection and care. She co-created and facilitated Laundry Day, an outreach programme for seniors aged 65 and above in partnership with TOUCH Community Services in Sembawang, and has assisted community programmes by The ArtsFission Company across a range of age groups and contexts.
