About
Phua Yao Ting (YT) is an actor with experience in both film and theatre and an interest in drama therapy, applied theatre, forum theatre and fringe theatre.
He embarked on his journey in theatre while studying fashion design at ITE. Subsequently, he graduated with a Diploma in Performance from LASALLE College of the Arts, and completed Wild Rice's Young & Wild programme led by Edith Podesta in 2024.
His theatre work includes: 'Hock' in PEOPLE (Young & Wild, Wild Rice), 'Claudius' in An Adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet (ITE Theatrical Ensemble) and 'Mrs X' in The Stronger and 'Mr B' in The Ring, in the double bill show SAKE and PLAY (Theatre Boleh).
