Zhang Hui

Zhang Hui is a Beijing-based performer driven by a profound passion for the performing arts. A lifelong Disney enthusiast, her frequent childhood visits to the parks sparked an early love for music and movement. However, it was the electrifying Broadway production of Newsies that served as her true catalyst, inspiring her to pursue a professional career in musical theatre.

Music is the heartbeat of Zhang Hui's creative life. Beyond the theatrical stage, she possesses a keen appreciation for jazz and R&B, drawing energy and inspiration from their rich textures. Her dance journey is equally diverse as she began her foundation in Chinese Dance at the age of seven and transitioned to street jazz at Beijing’s renowned ZAHA CLUB dance studio at the age of 13. Street jazz remains her signature style where she blends technical precision with raw expressive power.

An individual of diverse talents, Zhang Hui finds balance through golf, painting, go-karting, modelling and travelling. Her intellectual curiosity has also led her to the study of psychology and she views psychological research as an essential tool for character development, allowing her to bring authentic nuances to her performances.
