About
phyl•lyse is an alternative singer-songwriter, performer and producer who strives to create a space for shared vulnerability with her listeners while establishing her voice as an artist in the music scene. Mental health is a central theme in her music, inspiring her to write with intention and purpose.
phyl•lyse creates honest, emotionally resonant music that connects with listeners while encouraging self-expression and vulnerability. Her releases, I Could Take It Down A Notch (EP) and Push Through (single), were entirely self-written and produced, showcasing her distinctive voice and hands-on approach to her craft.
While vocals have been phyl•lyse’s main field of study during her time in LASALLE College of the Arts, she is a well-versed multi-instrumentalist, having learnt the piano at the age of seven, and has self-taught guitar, drums and bass. She also spent her internship working at a jamming studio, learning about live sound engineering and building relationships with musicians who come to the studio.
As phyl•lyse continues to grow her audience, she dreams of making music that gives herself and her listeners an outlet to feel.
