Wang Songyue

Wang Songyue is a fresh graduate of the Diploma in Audio Production programme at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore. His training covers a wide range of areas within professional audio practice, including studio recording, mixing, music production and live sound engineering.

During his studies, he has participated in numerous live sound events and productions, taking on technical roles such as infrastructure designer, monitor engineer and virtual acoustic shell operator. These experiences have provided him with practical knowledge of live sound system setup, signal flow management and stage monitoring in professional performance environments. He is proficient with software and plugins like Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Plugin Alliance, Waves, iZotope RX, Fabfilter and more. 

Alongside live sound work, Songyue focuses strongly on studio practice. His work includes studio recording, mixing and music production, with an emphasis on developing technical listening skills and production workflow.

In his third year of studies, he dedicated a significant amount of time to electronic music production, exploring sound design, arrangement and mixing techniques within contemporary electronic music.

Through both studio and live sound experience, he continues to develop a comprehensive understanding of audio engineering and music production.
