The Art of Seduction
The Art of Seduction is a large-scale diptych that explores desire, power, vulnerability and transformation through the symbolic language of mythological sirens.
With an intense crimson background, the work features human-mermaid forms intertwined with a serpent-like creature that moves fluidly across both panels, connecting each figure physically and emotionally.
In this work, red is used to represent passion, danger, intimacy and inner conflict. Rather than functioning as a simple backdrop, it creates an emotional atmosphere where tension and attraction coexist. The layered brushwork, dramatic contrasts and symbolic imagery create a psychological space where themes of longing, possession, identity and the tension between separation and unity reflect the instability often present in relationships.
