About

Heema is a multi-instrumentalist who tremendously enjoys singing and writing her own music.

She has been an entertainer since the age of four and has gone on to work with local artists including Sezairi, Charlie Lim and Rahimah Rahim, while steadily building her own voice within Singapore’s music scene. Grounded in a diverse musical upbringing, Heema incorporates her love of alternative rock, pop and folk into a sound that is both emotionally nuanced and sonically dynamic.

Heema's songwriting is rooted in a philosophy of honesty and connection. She draws from personal experiences to create music that is unapologetic, colourful and bold, often exploring emotions and stories that people may otherwise find difficult to express. Through this, she aims to transform shared lived experiences into songs that resonate widely, especially with younger audiences navigating identity, growth and vulnerability. In 2023, she released her first single Locked Out, followed by her debut extended play, Sleep When You’re Tired, released in October 2025.

A versatile performer, Heema has taken to stages of all scales—from large national platforms such as the National Day Parade and the Esplanade, to intimate stripped-back sets with just her guitar. Beyond performing, she also delivered a TEDx talk advocating for music accessibility, reflecting her commitment to using her voice both on and off stage.

Whether in grand venues or close-knit spaces, Heema continues to captivate audiences with her soulful voice and emotionally immersive performances.
