About

Wang Yujia is a graduating student of the BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Industries programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, where she developed a strong interest in integrating social issues with fashion projects, using visual storytelling as a way to communicate deeper cultural and emotional narratives.

Yujia views fashion beyond aesthetics or trends, seeing it as a powerful medium for observing society and influencing public awareness. She is interested in how it can question existing systems, reflect social changes and encourage more responsible ways of thinking.

Her practice explores topics such as youth consumption, identity, social pressure and the relationship between fashion and contemporary values. Through photography, fashion film, styling and creative direction, she aims to create work that is visually engaging while carrying a meaningful message.

In the future, she hopes to further specialise in the luxury industry, with a focus on sustainability. She is particularly interested in exploring how luxury brands can maintain craftsmanship, exclusivity and cultural value while developing more ethical, environmentally conscious and long-term strategies.
