The LASALLE Show
When The World Holds Its Breath 未及之处
Synopsis
If we live alongside death’s continuous presence, how then are we to understand what it means to live?
This film turns its lens on those who live and work in proximity to death—embalmers, suicide hotline officers, theatre practitioners, caregivers and others at the fragile edges of life.
These people move between tending to life and accompanying its departure, balancing emotional engagement with self-preservation.
