Ashraf Arif Bin Eddy Sham

About

Ashraf found his love for the arts at an early age, when he started scribbling and drawing on his textbooks, finding meaning in the small details in his life.

He operates at the intersection of technical precision and raw creativity. With skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, he has mastered the tools necessary to bring imagination to life. From digital art to captivating marketing materials, his work is defined by a meticulous eye for detail and an understanding of visual structure.

His writing further ensures that every design choice serves a thematic purpose. This combination of skills allows him to craft cohesive brand identities that communicate across multiple mediums and transform complex ideas into striking visuals.

In 2021, Ashraf won the first place in a pop art competition organised by Dyslexia Association of Singapore, highlighting his ability for using bold, accessible design to raise awareness for important social causes. In 2024, his photography book Terminals was selected for a special showcase at the Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film, exploring how airports act as profound backdrops for personal journeys.

When he is not working on pixels and vectors, he can usually be found chilling with his cat.

Tell Me Something

Tell Me Something is a global travelling archive for aspiring writers, creating a space where unfinished stories, excerpts and artefacts finally have a home.

It transforms the solitary grind of writing into a celebration of creative wellness. More than a platform, it represents a mental exhale.

By having others pick up a file, find a spot to sit and unwind, reading is turned into a form of creative self-care —an opportunity to breathe and draw inspiration from raw honesty. While most platforms celebrate the polished end product, Tell Me Something validates the entire creative cycle.

TERMINALS

Terminals capture how moments seem to pause in the airport, where the world feels both big and small at the same time. It is easy to get lost in the crowds, but you are exactly where you need to be.

A Political Satire

Inspired by Donald Trump’s suggestion during the pandemic that reducing COVID-19 testing would naturally lower case numbers, this satirical artwork applies the same logic to environmental collapse.

It depicts a leader who suggests that ignoring the visual evidence of melting ice caps will "cool the earth," highlighting the absurdity of choosing ignorance over action.
