About
Letitia (aka Confushdon) is a Singapore-based designer working across graphic design, illustration and visual identities.
She is drawn to small meanings and the fun nuances of everyday life, often translating them into her work, whether through experience design or tactile forms.
Sonic Attunements is a multi-part installation that uses sound to deepen our connection to our everyday environments.
Starting from the observation that our engagement with surroundings is predominantly visual, the project explores how sonic and haptic encounters can cultivate more attentive ways of relating to the world around us.
Through guided listening walks, proximity-triggered compositions from found objects, and platforms that let visitors feel sound through touch, it invites audiences to engage with their environments through listening, movement and touch.
Designed for everyday listeners, the project proposes that listening is not just perception, but participation.
Installation made during an exchange semester at Design Academy Eindhoven, 2025.
Titled in conversations, the work is a personal reflection on the dialogues within my own family. It sits with the silences, gaps, pauses and hesitations that surface in conversations with my parents. The ones that come from a long-standing reluctance to trouble them, or to invite disagreement.
