BOUNDED is a fashion publication that draws upon the uniform as a marker of control and a supposed level playing field to critique Singapore's hidden class divisions, aiming to reveal the lived realities and inequalities faced by the unseen.
Often celebrated for its multicultural identity, Singapore also holds a subtler reality beneath this image of harmony. The uniform, which carries a sense of familiarity and perceived sameness, becomes a tool that both conceals and exposes the inequalities embedded within Singapore's class structure.
What is intended to support equal opportunity instead reveals these hidden nuances.
