About
ARyT (she/her) is a contemporary artist who specialises in painting. She is currently based in Singapore and is graduating with a Diploma in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts.
Drawing inspiration from absurdism and surrealism, ARyT explores themes shaped by her vivid imagination, unusual hallucinations and childhood nightmares. She has displayed her work at the Samaritans of Singapore Colours of Hope Art Competition and Exhibition.
Outside of her practice, she collects dolls and has a strong interest in horror.
Deeztortia
Deeztortia is an exploration of how lived experiences gradually distort our memory over time. Memory reshapes faces and moments into intangible fragments, so that what once felt ordinary can return as something uncanny.
The composition is made of figurative and intuitive forms that behave as emotional residues rather than fixed characters or objects. Vivid colours transcend real life, creating a passage into a dreamlike state where blurred identities and overblown shapes overlap and coexist.
