Kinstruct

A 2025 SMU study found that 81% of respondents were open to end-of-life conversations, but over 51% had taken zero steps to actually prepare. Families want to have these conversations, but they do not know how or where to begin. End-of-life conversations can be tough, but they do not have to be.

Kinstruct turns the 'formality' of legacy planning into a collaborative and playful experience. Through open dialogue, this kit encourages Singaporean families to take charge of their future, creating a collective peace of mind, one conversation at a time.

Suicide remains the leading cause of death for youths aged 10-29 for the fourth consecutive year since 2024, accounting for 38.7% of deaths in this group. Youths who reached out have shared that the support they received lacked empathy and human connection (Samaritans of Singapore, 2024).

'Together for Tomorrow' is a community-focused campaign focused on promoting mental, emotional and social well-being. Through the power of conversation, sharing of stories and making connections, the project turns silence into strength.

Part of the project was exhibited at Well-Being Reimagined: Designing The Home Of The Future for Singapore Design Week 2024.
