About
Prakriti is a multidisciplinary designer with a background in product design and a growing practice across graphic design, branding, editorial design and illustration.
Her work is driven by curiosity, culture and the belief that design should be both meaningful and memorable. With an interest in visual storytelling and thoughtful systems, she enjoys creating identities, publications, packaging and concepts that balance clarity with character. She is particularly drawn to projects that connect people with everyday experiences through design, whether through functional problem-solving or expressive communication.
Prakriti's interests are deeply influenced by food culture, Indian visual language, materiality and contemporary aesthetics. Valuing research, detail and emotional resonance equally, she often looks to ordinary rituals, heritage references and modern consumer behaviour as starting points for fresh design ideas.
Prakriti is excited to continue building a multidisciplinary creative practice that moves between branding, visual communication, product thinking and culturally rooted design.
SOCH is a portable public toilet solution designed to address the growing need for accessible, hygienic and flexible sanitation infrastructure in public spaces.
The project responds to challenges commonly faced during outdoor events, crowded urban areas, transit zones, construction sites and temporary gatherings where permanent facilities may be unavailable or insufficient.
The design focuses on user comfort, ease of mobility, efficient installation and improved maintenance systems. Through research into user behaviour, public hygiene concerns and existing sanitation models, the project aims to create a solution that is practical, inclusive and dignified for everyday users.
SOCH combines functional problem-solving with thoughtful user experience, exploring how essential infrastructure can be reimagined through design. The project reflects the role of product design in solving real social challenges while improving quality of life in shared environments.
