Yuichi is a graphic designer driven by exploration, experimentation and craft. In an increasingly digital world, he values making and creating by hand, as it brings a more human and genuine quality to design.
Driven, focused and unafraid of failure, he sees every setback as an opportunity to push ideas further, refine perspectives and grow through the process.
Yuichi believes that design should be guided by empathy rather than visual trends. To him, good design is about understanding people, responding to the brief with honesty and creating work with purpose and belief. Since design is ultimately made for others, he believes that designers must learn to listen, observe and empathise deeply with the audiences they communicate with.
One of the most valuable lessons which Yuichi has learnt is that meaningful feedback often comes from people outside the creative industry. While designers may focus on aesthetics and concepts, most audiences experience design from a more instinctive and emotional perspective.
Understanding this balance has shaped the way Yuichi approaches communication, storytelling and design as a whole.
SIGNAL
SIGNAL is a health-focused brand designed for early detection and awareness of critical illnesses.
It combines wearable technology with data-driven insights to monitor subtle changes in the body before symptoms become severe. By translating complex medical data into clear, accessible feedback, SIGNAL empowers users to understand their health in real time and take preventive action. The system bridges the gap between medical expertise and everyday life, making proactive care more intuitive.
Rather than reacting to illness, SIGNAL encourages a shift toward early awareness, helping individuals make informed lifestyle decisions and seek timely medical attention when necessary.

Between The Lines invites participants to go beyond the visible lines of buildings and rediscover the collective efforts that make everything possible. It emphasises the significance of 'invisible threads'—the subtle design choices, social interactions and community dynamics that influence daily life and cohesion.

Stamp Trail Booklet - Singapore Botanic Gardens' 10th Anniversary UNESCO World Heritage Site Award
In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Singapore Botanic Gardens' UNESCO World Heritage Site award, Yuichi and his team were tasked to create a stamp trail booklet.
This project was developed as a school assignment and later proposed to Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG). Designed by Sarah, Lena, Trisyia and Yuichi, the team worked with SBG to successfully develop and execute the anniversary stamp trail booklet.
