Haisan is a graphic designer who has expanded his practice into other areas of the creative spectrum, including creative direction.
Through applying his graphic design skills to creative direction, he discovered a love for digital illustration while working with aesthetics inspired by Japanese 2D culture.
Haisan is currently trying his hand in digital illustrative practices to refine his skills in this medium and further develop his creative direction.
VANS: WORN LOUD – VOICENOTES: A LOVE LETTER TO AUTHENTIC
VOICENOTES: A LOVE LETTER TO AUTHENTIC was developed as part of an industry project in collaboration with VANS Singapore's global campaign titled 'WORN LOUD' centred on The Authentic and the loud lives who have shaped its meaning since 1966.
This project features Kristal Melson, an illustrator and Andy Sng, a senior retail associate and barista. Framed as a letter to themselves at any point in time, it delves into the lives of their personalities—past, present and future—as a celebration and reflection of their life, artistry and talent.
