Afterlife.exe

Afterlife.exe is a fashion film exploring the concept of 'Cyber Eternity', where technology preserves the dead as holographic echoes.

It follows a young woman who uses a digital afterlife service to reconnect with her late mother, only to realise that the hologram can only repeat pre-set lines and cannot restore real presence.

Through cyber-inspired styling, lighting and sound, the film creates a reflective space for audiences to question whether digital immortality brings comfort or causes deeper pain. When the dead return as holograms, what emotional needs do we fulfil, and what new wounds do we open?

The story is set in the year 2070. After death, people no longer become ashes or anything physical; instead, they are converted into a chip that stores their memories and lifetime data.
